Saturday 11 November 2017What a great morning with the team showing how performing together as a team can influence the score. Incredible!!! Everyone demonstrated their skill and new techniques, but most of all team-work. There was great passing with regular attacks with the results a reflection on the standard of play this morning. Keep at it boys! Bontnewydd (1) V Bethel (6) Bontnewydd (3) V Bethel (18) |

Friday 22/9/2017Bethel (5) v Cae Glyn (2) Scorers: Riley (2), Max (1), Steff (1), Deio (1) A great start to the season with Bethel performing strongly against Cae Glyn |
Saturday 14 October 2017Bethel 6 - Bethesda 3 Scorers: Jac Lloyd-Williams, Llyr a Iestyn (4) The best performance of the season so far with everyone in the team using the ball well and aware of their positions throughout. The best example of playing from the back from any team this season was demonstrated by Nia, exactly like Franco Baresi or Fabio Cannavaro from the great Italian team. |
Saturday 7 October 2017Llanberis v Bethel A good start again this week with Jac Green and Iestyn putting the team ahead. Bethel lost control a little after the break but then responded strongly. A close even game with effort and commitment from everyone. The focus for the next training will be on moving the ball quickly between each other. |
September 30 2017Bethel v Bontnewydd A better start today and the team generally kept their shape better and trusted their teammates. Bethel went 2 goals up early on but by half time it was all square. Bethel dominated after the break, scoring 7 without reply. Although the attack was excellent, deserved praise needs to be given to the defence (Llyr and Jack Green) who didn’t miss a tackle all game. |
September 23 2017Bethel v Llandwrog A slow start from the team today (don’t forget kick-off 9:30 not meeting time 9:30!) but as the game progressed they came more and more into the game. It was 3-1 to Llandwrog at the final whistle but on the request of the opposition a second game was held with Bethel creating chance after chance. Iestyn was on the scoresheet and through the game there was more evidence of team play. It finished 5-3, although a goal was ruled out right on the final whistle. There was at least 10 great chances and if the team continue to play like this the goals will come. |
September 16 2017Llanrug v Bethel After two weeks of continuous rain, the game had to be moved from Bethel’s waterlogged pitch to Llanrug. The team started well with purposeful passing but it was Llanrug who went infront, but gradually Bethel got more organised, and after a cracking goal from Gruff Bethel finished the game strongly. Maths is a weakness for the coach! But the general opinion is that the game finished level 4-4 with a positive optimists thinking Bethel sneaked it! |
September 9 2017Nantlle Vale v Bethel Again this season there is a bigger pitch, with larger goals and 7 a side. |
